Kevin…Hon President.

Kevin 2Kevin: HC: 22

Our President and treasurer!!.. Had a great 2016 on the greens and is still the dark horse for this year.Playing out of Journalists G.S. .Short but very consistent of the tee handicap needs scrutiny….and lethal from 50 yards. One to be watched good bunker player..and will feature at some stage of the competition.

Terry:HC: 5

Playing out of Dundalk G.C. and a very accomplished all round player. This year greatly distracted with the arrival of a new grandchild so will be suffering a little from night feeds and bottle rash!!…Coach to the Dundalk Junior Cup Golf team in 2015… so will be available for tips if necessary. Will be favorite again for the competition  but will be distracted by all thats going on on the home front… Again a  strong contender to make the presentation speech!!

Joe

JoeJoe: HC: 20

Playing out of Ardee G.C. and having no wedding stress this year makes him an outside bet!. Playing consistently off the tee and solid around the green. If putting well then will be in form for a session!!

Frank

FrankFrank:HC: 13

Has had extensive practice at home and abroad in 2018 preparing for this years tour and is a favourite, but not necessarily on the golf course…time will tell…Playing out of Mallow G.C. A keen competitor and strong Iron player. Very experienced in club and inter club competition. Will be one to watch if on his game… Still drives (a Buggy) better than Billy.

Gerard

Gerard

Gerard:  HC: 26

Now that the injuries of 2018 are finally behind him and Frank Junior is behaving well Gerry has had the winter to do some intensive training and is raring to go.  Playing out of Enniscorthy G.C. Another who is straight and true off the tee. Can be very determined when necessary and assuming Dundalk FC are not looking for a goalkeeper,  will be a strong competitor . Will not waste many putts, but recovered from injury  will be keen to impress.

Vinnie

Vinnie HC : 20

Playing out of Courtown Golf Club and carrying a mean lob wedge Vinnie could be this year’s dark horse. Plays well off the tee and can sing a merry tune. If the putts roll in and the endurance holds up.. Vinnie will be one to watch.

Dermot

Dermot

Dermot: HC: 20

Playing out of Ardee GC …Dermot will be closely watched this year and will try to do the double. assuming theres no distractions or Mickey Finns sent his way he will be a contender and, being  a good Kerry man he will come to the fore as the competition progresses. On his day will be very steady around the greens. A good team player.

Billy

BillyBilly: HC: 15

Playing out of Greenore GC and although he will claim to have had little time for golf in 2018, should his raw talent break through he will have little chance !. Driving skill (in buggy) suspect but consistently long and straight off the tee. Always performs well under pressure and if putting well will be a strong bet for the competition

Ray

Ray

Playing out of Greenore GC on a handicap of 20 Ray is enjoying retirement from the day job and could be regarded as a Pirate out of his Den!..Hopefully he will not be distracted by the variety of expertise on the tour and could be a contender if the new clubs work as planned.
